Last updated: 25 July 2026. This policy is a starting template and should be reviewed by a qualified legal advisor before the site goes live on a production domain.
SupportBull provides outsourced customer support services to businesses. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we handle it. For data we process on behalf of our clients as part of delivering support services, our data processing agreement with that client governs the relationship, not this policy.
We collect information you give us directly — your name, email address, telephone number, company name and anything else you include when you complete an enquiry form or email us. We also collect limited technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the pages you view on this site.
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals and scoping documents, deliver services under a signed agreement, send service-related communications, and improve this website. We use technical information in aggregate to understand how the site performs and where visitors come from.
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries and operate our website, performance of a contract to deliver services you have engaged us for, consent for optional marketing communications, and legal obligation where we are required to retain records.
We only send marketing emails to people who have asked to receive them or who have made a business enquiry. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Unsubscribing does not stop service-related messages if you are an active client.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — web hosting, email delivery, analytics and CRM providers — all of whom are bound by contract to process it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.
Some of our service providers are located outside the UK and EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to ensure an equivalent level of protection.
Enquiry data is retained for 24 months from your last contact with us unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client records are retained for the duration of the contract plus seven years to meet accounting and tax obligations. Website analytics data is retained in aggregate form for 26 months.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, restrict or object to processing, request a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We respond within one month.
This site uses cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site behave.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted transport, access controls on a least-privilege basis, and prompt revocation of access when staff leave an account. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Questions about this policy or your personal data can be sent to privacy@supportbull.com.
